Today was our first work day. Most of the day was spent in meetings, but we did go out to eat for a good lunch and a good dinner. The first place served both Vietnamese and Italian foods. You could get fish soup and pizza if you wanted too. The dinner resteraunt was a place run by an American who moved to Saigon to open a resteraunt. That was really good as well. The thing that is so strange here is the number of scooter/motor bikes. I askes someone and they said that there are 10 million people and 4 million own scooters. Traffic is crazy with cars and taxis constantly honking and scooters running through intersections in large packs. Hopefully I can get a good picture up before too long. Another interesting fact is a lot of stores have multiple levels of living quarters above them. Also a lot of places have lots of scooters in them. I am suffering from jet lag and need to get some sleep so I will make more observations later.
